This gentle par 5 has a wide fairway with a slight dogleg to the left. All the challenge on the hole is around the well-bunkered green. Definitely a birdie opportunity for the stronger player but par is always a good score.

A classic short par 4 risk and reward hole, drivable for the long hitter. With two large fairway bunkers on the left, and water on the right side of the fairway and green, players need to think carefully before taking the green on from the tee.

This long uphill par 3 measures 215m off the Championship Tee and 199m off the Club Tee. A huge bunker guards the entire left side of the large green with ample bailout area on the right side.

The hole is definitely stroke 1 on the course. It is the longest par 4 with a slight dogleg left. The left side is heavily guarded with newly planted trees. A good drive will leave a long second into a partly obscure green sloping from front to back.

This is the longest hole on the course at 596m off the Championship Tee. The fairway is wide and invites the player to hit a big drive. The second shot is a definite lay up short of the undulating green with some interesting pin positions.

The only hole on the course with any risk of out of bounds down the right side of the fairway. The green is well protected with bunkers left and right of the green. With the pin back left this is a tough hole on which to make par.

Often referred to as the signature hole, this pretty par 3 over water offers more challenge than it seems. The green is well guarded with three bunkers and when the wind is up the hole plays much tougher than the stroke 15 suggests.

A relative short dogleg right closing hole with lateral water hazards both left and right. This hole has a sloping green that is well bunkered both left and right. Downhill putts don’t get any faster than this.

A straight forward uphill opening hole to the back nine. Just avoid the fairway bunker on the right and leave yourself a medium to short iron into the generous green.

A challenging uphill par 4 with a right-hand dogleg. The ideal drive is left of the fairway bunker or for the big hitter straight over the bunker. The second shot is played into a small sloping green for such a long hole.

Another risk and reward hole with more emphasis on reward than risk. A straightforward short par 4 with no trouble other than the cluster of trees off the right side of the fairway.

This relatively long par 4 plays downhill and the ideal tee shot is played over a group of trees on the right edge of the fairway. The green slopes off to the right and the second shot needs to be played with care to avoid both the bunker on the left and the slope on the right side of the green.

Generally considered to be the strongest hole on the course, this stroke 2 hole offers a real challenge. The fairway bunkers are always in play and the fairway to the left is very narrow. The approach shot is to an elevated clover leaf green with three gaping bunkers on the right waiting to trap any wayward shot. 3 Excellent pin positions are available.

This medium to long par 3 also plays over wild Syringa trees in the fairway. The feature of this hole is the water guarding the entire left of the green with a waterfall in the background.

This closing hole is complete in every respect. It has risk, reward, fairway bunkers, groups of trees, a lateral hazard and a green side dam. Most of all, it has strong playability and shot making values. It is a beautiful closing hole with the Clubhouse in the background offering a welcome drink after an enjoyable round of golf.
